7:07 p.m. Meeting opened.
For the record, a quorum of members was not present.
No other members of the public were present.
Mr. Martin proceeded to show us the location of his proposed gunsmithing shop in the existing attached garage to his residence. He discussed measures that he has completed, or plans to complete, to assure safety in the shop area, location of proposed tools and work bench area. He assured the board that there would be no hazardous materials on site and any oily rags generated by the service would be properly stored and cleaned or disposed of by a professional service he would contract with for that purpose.
We then proceeded to the back of the property where his test firing range was located behind the back of his garage-barn. He already uses this as a firing range and has begun to remove trees and construct a log trap for test firing. He plans to install warning signage in the woods surrounding the firing range in the unlikely event someone comes through the woods in the vicinity.
