Walk to Powder Mill Pond – Sunday October 24, 1pm
The Greenfield Conservation Commission is organizing an easy walk to Powder Mill Pond to see land being conserved with a grant from the federal Wetlands Reserve Program. We will talk about the habitat and why it is so important to preserve this area as open space.
We will meet near 563 Old Bennington Road, look for signs.
The walk will start promptly at 1pm, rain or shine.
