BOOK RELEASE TO BE HELD AT GREENFIELD BLUEBERRY JAMBOREE
(Greenfield, NH) – “Carved in Granite II: More Storytellers of New
Hampshire,” will be released at the Blueberry Jamboree in Greenfield,
August 1st. The book is a collection of previously unreleased short
stories by New Hampshire authors, published by SciArt Media of
Greenfield.
“We’re really excited about this new anthology,” explained James
Maynard, owner of the publishing company. “The stories are exciting,
some are very dark and a few are light-hearted and even humorous.”
This work follows up on last year’s original “Carved in Granite,”
which was the first of the company’s New Hampshire-centric
collections.
The authors were chosen from a contest held earlier this year. People
entered from around the state. Like its predecessor, this contest also
provided stories in a wide variety of genres.
“Carved in Granite II” features a dozen tales from a dozen New
Hampshire authors. Some of the authors have had earlier works published
by the Greenfield-based publisher; others are new authors, culled from
writers around the state.
“We recognize what talent there is right here in the New Hampshire,
and ‘Carved in Granite II’ is another example of what Granite
Staters can produce. We thought that it would be perfect to release the
book at our own hometown Blueberry Jamboree.” The event begins at 8am,
and it continues until 3 pm.
