1.  Alternate Trustee Replacement:  7:02 p.m.
Bob Marshall will retire as a library trustee alternate in June 2011  as he will be chairman of the planning board.  Dan Sousa will take his place.

2.  Minutes:  7:04 p.m.
April minutes were reviewed and accepted with no revision by unanimous vote.

3.  Technology Update:  7:08 p.m.
Andre Wood provided an update on his progress and reported his concerns regarding security and networking at the library.  The wireless access has been installed in the Peter Wensberg Room.  Andre reviewed how things currently operate on the library’s computer system and what we might want to consider in order to improve security on our system.  Kristin asked Andre about the current backup issue the librarians face each day.  Bob made a motion to have Andre prepare quotes for needed work on these two issues.  Neal seconded the motion.  Motion passed by unanimous vote.  Bruce then asked about anti virus protection for the staff computers.  MaryAnn asked Andre if he would be willing to help the library develop a technology plan.  His reply was affirmative.  She asked if laptops would be a good replacement for our desktops.  Andre said no.

4.  Treasurer’s Report:  7:42 p.m.
Mary Ann presented the treasurer’s report.  It was reviewed, discussed and accepted by unanimous vote.

5.  Library Director’s Report:  7:50 p.m.
Reviewed and discussed the monthly statistics for April 2011.   Report accepted by unanimous vote.
6.  Bookcases:   7:55 p.m.
Bob reviewed quotes received from David Bridgewater and CMR Construction.  We are waiting for a quote from Chris Hendricks.  Kristin and Bob plan to meet with Ann Hooey from the NH State Library to determine our space and bookshelf needs so that we stay in compliance with ADA.
