Conservation Commission Minutes 8/26/09
DRAFT MINUTES

Greenfield Conservation Minutes
August 26, 2009

Present: Carol Irwin, Karen Day Absent: Neal Brown, Roger Lessard

Discussed the Fox situation on Sunset Lake. After three letters, there is no movement on the wetlands permit. The next step will have to be to file a formal complaint. Carol will ask Neal for information on this and will move forward on this.

All the blueberry bushes have all been delivered and paid for. There were 36 sold. Roger spoke with Kathy Seigars and she said that if we could order all of the bushes in the spring, we would save money.

Ian McSweeney came in to let us know that the easement on Winrose Farm is still in the works. They are slowly working through the details and hope that the Conservation Commission will be able to help with some of the costs as we go forward.

We discussed needing more members.

Carol brought up the LeBlanc land that is being deeded to the Conservation Commission. We don’t know anything about it, not even the lot and map number. She will check with Deb for details.

Carol asked if there was anything that the Conservation Commission needs to know about the land next to the cemetery. Karen said no, not right now. Karla is handling all the details at the moment and will include the Conservation Commission when needed.
