Minutes of the Greenfield Conservation Commission
January 14, 2004

Sheldon Pennoyer came in with a Minimum Impact Application for a pond. The application was produced by Watershed to Wildlife, Inc. (John Severance and Elisa Lawson) from Whitefield, NH.

The pond is not a fire pond although it could be used in an emergency in the summer. The main purpose for the pond is to improve wildlife habitat. The area to be disturbed is approximately 5000 sq. ft. and lies in a natural drainage area. The area is fairly level and will be bermed to prevent erosion. The work will be done when the ground is dry or frozen and should be finished in 2 or 3 days.

Karen told Sheldon that our usual procedure is to discuss the application and that we would let him know whether we have approved it or not.

Since the application was in order and seemed well thought out, we approved signing it. Karen will inform Sheldon of our decision.
