Greenfield Conservation Commission
October 16, 2002
Tom Adams, Karen Day, Marilyn Fletcher, Roger Lessard, David Voymas
David passed out a letter from NH DES in reference to the Minimum Expedited Application that was submitted for the Town roads culvert replacement. The letter expresses concern about culverts that will be lowered when installed, and the impact on the hydrology of any wetland systems immediately upstream. DES would like more information on the culverts that will be lowered.
Karen discussed that Richard Ober from Monadnock Conservency, Jennifer Byeington from Francestown Land Conservation and Jeffrey Timmons will speak about Land Conservation on November 7 at the Meeting House.
Budget for 2003 was discussed. It was decided to increase amounts for Dues and Subscriptions, Education/Convention, and Miscellaneous. Publications will be merged with Miscellaneous. $1500 will need to be allocated for a new computer. An additional $1500.00 will need to be budgeted for a wetlands engineer to work on the culvert replacements. Total new budget is $5685.00. Other amounts will remain the same.
Marilyn mentioned that the next Master Plan meeting is October 28, 2002.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:30.
