Board of Cemetery Trustees/Board of Trustees of Trust Funds meeting minutes

PRESENT: ~Gil Bliss, Margo Charig Bliss, Merrill Villmore, sexton
ABSENT: Jan Moller
- The board voted to approve an investment policy for this year – voting unanimously to maintain the current practice of investing in certificates of deposit at the People’s United Bank.
- The board signed completed MS-9 forms, prepared by Margo Bliss, for annual reporting to the state Department of Revenue and Department of Justice.
- A discussion was held with sexton Merrill Villmore on the cost for cremation burials in Greenvale Cemetery. The board is working on developing a lower rate for town residents. The former rate was set by the previous sexton at $200. Several figures were discussed, but action was put off until Ms. Moller can attend the meeting.
- The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
