ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

        Joshua & Tammy Iacobucci, Lot 3 Maple Ave. Ext. - Request for Re-Hearing regarding a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the construction of a duplex.


Nicholas E. Dean, 2 Cypress Drive, Glenville, NY 12302 - Area Variance application to allow for a 6' high stockade fence in the front yard.  Property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and identified on tax map: 22.7-2-26.
Variance of 270-52, B,(2): Fences on residential properties will not exceed four feet in height in the front yard.  Therefore, the applicant is seeking a 2' height variance for the portion of fence extending into the front yard of Daphne Drive.


        Michael Salisbury, 6 Glendale Road, Glenville, NY 12302 - Area Variance application to allow for an addition to the attached garage to be constructed 5' 9" from the side lot line.  Property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and identified on tax map: 15.20-1-6.
        Variance of 270-Attachment 1: a minimum of 15' is required to the side lot line from the principal structure.  Therefore the applicant seeks a side yard setback variance of 9'3".


Bhavik Jariwala, Oakwood Hospitality - 2 & 4 Freemans Bridge Road - 20 Area Variances associated with three parcels of property to be reconfigured and developed as a hotel, restaurant, banquet facility with office space, and a marina building with retail sales.  Associated parking and utilities are also part of this plan.  The property is owned by Pat Popolizio, 1101 Rugby Rd., Schenectady, NY 12308.   The properties are proposed to be reconfigured into three new non-conforming lots which require variances.   They are currently identified on tax maps 30.19-1-22, 30.19-1-23 & 30.00-1-33.

6)      270-73,C,3 - reduced minimum setback for parking spaces
7)      270-Attachment 1 - reduced minimum side setback for a structure
