ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS


        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

        Application of Joseph Ringhoff, 1 Havenbrook Drive, Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance to allow for a 6' high wooden stockade fence in the front yard.  The property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 39.7-1-8.
        Variance requested: 270-52 (B)(2): Fences in residential front yards may not exceed 4' in height.  This fence was installed without the benefit of a permit.  The applicant is seeking total relief from the zoning ordinance.


        Application of George Stewart, 110 St. Stephens Lane W. Glenville, NY  12302 for an Area Variance to allow for the placement of a 10' x 16' storage shed in the front yard.  The property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 22.6-4-1.1.
        Variance requested: 270-9 (C): No permitted accessory structure shall be placed in any front yard.  The shed is an accessory structure and the property is a corner lot which has two front yards.  The applicant is seeking total relief from the zoning ordinance.
