ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
Application of Fred Ogle, Creekside Café & Coffee House, 658 Saratoga Road, Glenville, NY 12302 for a Conditional Use Permit that will allow for a new outdoor BBQ/Cooking area, an 8 x 12 storage shed and outdoor seating. Said property is located in the Community Business Zoning District and is identified on tax map 10.17-7-12.
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-126: Expansion of Conditional Use Permit. Any expansion or alteration of a conditional use, whether it be the expansion or reconfiguration of the principal building, parking lot, driveways, accessory buildings, etc., is subject to the review procedures outlined in this article. The addition of the BBQ area and additional seating is an expansion of the use already allowed by a Conditional Use Permit and therefore requires a new Conditional Use Permit.
Application of Christopher Juron, 3292 West Glenville Road, Amsterdam, NY 12010 for an Area Variance that will allow for the placement of a new 130' x 13' (1,690 s/f) ground mount solar array in the side yard of the property along West Glenville Road. Said property is located in the Rural Residential/Agricultural Zoning District and is identified on tax map 3.-1-13.121
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9,F,2: The maximum sized for an accessory structure in the RRA zoning district is 1,200 s/f. Therefore the applicant is seeking a variance of 490 s/f.
