TOWN OF GLENVILLE
ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS


        PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.

        Application of First Niagara Bank, 466 Ballston Road, Glenville, NY  12302 for two sign variances.   The first variance request is to allow for aluminum in the sign faces.  The second variance is to allow for the two monument signs to be increased to a height of 10 feet.  The applicant is proposing to replace existing signs on the site with new signs. (5 directional, 1 facade and two monument signs).  No additional signs are proposed for the site.  The property is located in a General Business Zoning District and is identified on tax map 30.10-2-14.
        In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-134 (6)(b)[3][a] - Materials.  Monument signs and façade signs shall be made of wood, simulated wood, stone, brick, or composite materials.  Plastic, aluminum and other metal-type materials are only permitted on the sign frame and/or the light housing.
