ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
Application of Gregory Cook, 23 Pashley Road, Glenville, NY 12302 for two Area Variances that will allow for the construction of a 30' x 48' detached garage with an average height of 21'. The proposed structure exceeds the allowable square footage of accessory structures by 346 s/f and also exceeds the maximum average height allowed by 6'. Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map 15.12-6-29
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-9 D. Height. No accessory building or structure shall exceed 15 feet in height in a residential zoning district. And. 270-9 G (4) The combined footprint of all accessory structures may not exceed 75% of the footprint of the dwelling.
Application of John G. Zampella, 74 Fredericks Road, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will allow for a parking area associated with a proposed beauty salon to be located in the front yard of 427 Saratoga Road, Glenville, NY 12302. Said property is located in a Community Business Zoning District and is identified on tax map 15.15-1-4.
In accordance with the Codes of the Town of Glenville 270-73 C (5) all parking within the Community Business Zoning District shall be located to one side of the principal building and/or to the rear of the lot.
