ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at the Glenville Municipal Center, 18 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY 12302-4518 on Monday, January 22, 2007 at 7 p.m. to hear all persons interested in the following applications as provided for by the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Glenville.
Application of James H. Nally, 250 Lake Hill Road, Burnt Hills, NY 12027 for an Area Variance that will permit the construction of an 18’ x 68’ (1,224 s/f) addition to the rear of an existing barn. The addition will be a roof with open sides. The existing accessory structures and this addition exceed 75% of the footprint of the dwelling. Said property is located in a Suburban Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map ID 9.2-1-2.1
In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning Ordinance Article 3, F, 8 – Building Footprint of Residential Accessory Uses in Relation to the Dwelling: The combined footprint of all accessory structures on a residentially developed lot shall not exceed 75% of the footprint of the dwelling.
Application of Karen G. Schmieder, 390 Closson Road, Glenville, NY 12302 for an Area Variance that will permit the construction of a 24’ x 26’ addition to the existing dwelling. The addition will be located 32’ from the easterly side lot line. Said property is located in a Rural Residential Zoning District and is identified on tax map ID 14.3-1-8.
In accordance with the Town of Glenville Zoning District Zoning Ordinance Article 5, A, 5 – The minimum side yard setback is 50’.
