245 Saratoga Road Final (Public Hearing)
The applicant is proposing to expand the width of the existing drive-through lane from 10 feet 10 inches to 13 feet. This project was granted an area variance to intrude into the side yard buffer area where the drive-though lane would be widened. The property is located within the General Business and Town Center Overlay zoning districts.
3. Samantha, LLC Site Plan Review
144 Freemans Bridge Road Combined Preliminary and
Final (Public Hearing)
The applicant is requesting site plan approval for a 6,300 sq. ft. addition to the rear of the Solid Surface Craftsman building. The parcel is located within a General Business zoning district.
4. Robert Tuttle Minor (2-lot subdivision)
1243 Waters Road Preliminary
The applicant is seeking subdivision approval and several area variances for property line setbacks, minimum lot size, and minimum lot width, to establish a 3,600 sq. ft. parcel on which a cell tower already exists. The parcel was previously established without the benefit of subdivision review and approval. The property is located on the west side of Waters Road, just over a mile north of NYS Route 5. The site is zoned Rural Residential and Agricultural.
5. William M. Larned & Sons Use Variance
Vley Road Recommendation to the
Zoning Board of Appeals
This proposal involves reactivating a former sand and gravel mine as well as setting the stage for reclamation of the property, and a portion of the adjacent Scotia Sand & Stone-owned property. The site is located on the south side of Vley Road, immediately west of the National Grid overhead transmission lines. The property is zoned Suburban Residential.
6. Uriah Corporation Conditional Use Permit
24 Worden Road Recommendation to the
Zoning Board of Appeals
The applicant is seeking a conditional use permit to construct a two-family dwelling on an existing building lot at 24 Worden Road. The property, which is zoned Suburban Residential, abuts the driveway to the Glen-Worden Elementary School.
7. Animal Protective Foundation Use Variance and Zoning

The Animal Protective Foundation is proposing a 4,200+ sq. ft. addition to their facility for use as a spay/neuter clinic and reception area. In looking to construct as soon as possible, the applicant is initially seeking a use variance, but with a zoning map amendment to follow. The property is currently zoned Research/Development/Technology. The applicant is requesting a zoning change to General Business.

Concept for the June 4th agenda meeting
1. Shady Lane Realty, Inc. Conceptual Site Plan
Saratoga Road
This concept calls for a new 60,000+ sq. ft. commercial building on the 9.8-acre Socha Plaza property. The new building would include offices, a restaurant, retail space and apartments.
