Present: Supervisor Frank X. Quinn, Councilmen Robert E. Bailey, Mark A. Quinn, Edward F. Rosenberg and Councilwoman Valerie M. DiGiandomenico
Absent: None
Supervisor Quinn called the meeting to order at 7 :30 PM. Councilman Rosenberg gave the invocation and lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Supervisor Quinn asked the Town Clerk, Linda C. Neals, to call the roll. Everyone was present and accounted for.
RESOLUTION NO. 213-2006
Moved by: Councilman Bailey
Seconded by: Councilwoman DiGiandomenico
WHEREAS, Richard D. LeClair, Commissioner of Public Works has determined that the 30+ year old roof of the water treatment plant is in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, the board authorized the Commissioner to seek bids for the roof replacement; and
WHEREAS, four bids were received and opened on Tuesday, October 10, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder was Coppola & Sons in the sum of $25,200; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Glenville hereby authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to contract the roof replacement for the Glenville Water Treatment Facility with Coppola & Sons, 2 Cherry Ln, Glenville, NY; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this purchase shall be funded from 50.11.8330.4000.

RESOLUTION NO. 214-2006

WHEREAS, the Town Board authorized the advertisement for bidding with resolution number 203-2006 for the construction of Contract 4-06E – SCADA/Pump Control Panel – Water Treatment Plant addition; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on Tuesday, October 24, 2006; and
WHEREAS, only one bid was received from Aqualogics in the sum of $25,083.63; and
WHEREAS, the bid was reviewed by Richard D. LeClair, Commissioner of Public Works and Mark L. Kestner, the town designated engineer and both whom recommend awarding the contract to Aqualogics Systems, Inc,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Glenville hereby accepts the bid of Aqualogics Systems, Inc., 5 Dwight Park Drive, Syracuse, NY 13209 and awards the contract for the SCADA/Pump Control Panel – Contract 4-06E as set forth in the bid specifications and Kestner Engineers PC letter of October 25, 2006 at a cost not to exceed $25,100 to be funded by Capital Project 65.00.8330.4500.
