Present: Supervisor Clarence W. Mosher, Councilmen Mark A. Quinn, Robert E. Bailey, James W. Denney and Deputy Supervisor Peter V. Russo
Absent: None
James MacFarland notified the Town Board that the air conditioning unit located in the Senior Citizens Center stopped working. A service man was called and he informed Mr. MacFarland that the unit was non-repairable; therefore the following resolution was acted upon at the regularly scheduled work session.
RESOLUTION NO. 189-2005
Moved by: Councilman Denney
Seconded by: Councilman Russo
WHEREAS, the large air-conditioning unit that cools the Senior Center meeting room stopped working; and
WHEREAS, it is not repairable and must be wholly or partially replaced,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Supervisor is authorized to contract with a HAVC vendor to replace or repair the Senior Center’s air conditioning system or portions thereof in his sole discretion as an emergency situation.
Ayes: Councilmen Russo, Denney, Quinn, Bailey and Supervisor Mosher
Noes: None
Absent: None
Abstention: None
Motion Carried
Motion to adjourn was moved by Councilman Russo and Seconded by Councilman Quinn.
The Town of Glenville Town Board Meeting was adjourned.
