Postponed: Weekend Closure of Balltown Road South of Rexford Bridge
Weekend Closure Rescheduled for Oct. 28–31 to Allow for Roundabout Paving; Bridge Will Remain Open
This weekend’s closure of Balltown Road (Route 146) in Niskayuna immediately south of the roundabout at Aqueduct Road has been postponed due to the forecasted inclement weather. The closure has been rescheduled to begin next Friday, Oct. 28, after dark, weather permitting. Under the new schedule, Balltown Road would reopen by Monday, Oct. 31, at 6 a.m.
The closure is necessary to allow for paving of the new roundabout and the approaches to the roundabout at the southern end of the Rexford Bridge.
