Town’s Budget Forum Set for September 21st

Supervisor Chris Koetzle and the Glenville Town Board will host the 2016 Budget Forum on Wednesday, September 21st at the Glenville Town Hall. The forum will include a formal presentation of budget issues that are currently facing the town with a question and answer period. This forum is part of the Town’s annual budgeting process and is designed to engage residents in the process. The Supervisor will present financial trends, fund balance analysis, potential levy impacts and a discussion on the mandated tax cap, among other issues. The presentation will begin at 7 PM and is part of the Town Board’s normally scheduled Board meeting.

Additionally, this year the Efficiency in Government (EIG) Committee will be hosting a roundtable discussion on budget issues with Supervisor Koetzle on Thursday at 7 pm.  This will offer residents an additional opportunity to have an informal discussion on budget issues facing the town and the fiscal outlook for 2017 and beyond.  If you’re interested in attending this roundtable, please email ckoetzle@townofglenville.org
