The Scotia Rotary is working diligently to restore the Town of Glenville’s Green’s Corners One-Room School. A flyer providing “buy a brick” information to help fund this effort is attached.
Also, volunteers are needed this Saturday, June 11th at the school located on Potter Road in Glenville. They will be meeting from approximately 9am- 3pm. Interested volunteers should contact Bruce McConnelee on his cell phone (518) 944-3997 so he can assign them a task.
For this work party, volunteers will be performing some general cleanup of the property to include raking, filling in holes and cleaning up debris. They will also be looking for skilled workers to remove and clean bricks and assist with the interior walls.
