TRAFFIC ALERT for Glenville: due to work that will be taking place Thursday and Friday this week by NYS DOT, they will be shutting down the westbound left turning lane of Glenridge Rd which normally allows traffic to cue up to head southbound on Rt 50, as well as Rt 50 northbound from the Target Plaza entrance to Glenridge Rd. This will inevitably cause backups along Glenridge. In order to avoid unnecessarily impacting school traffic and morning commuters, this will not take place until 9:00am. However, due to the nature of the work, the closure will quite
possibly remain into the evening (no later than 6:00pm). Traffic flow will be assisted by flaggers as needed, and priority will be given to assisting any emergency vehicles that need to pass.
This will have impacts, so please plan accordingly.
