On November 18, 2015 the Glenville Town Board formally adopted the 2016 Town Budget. The 2016 budget carries an overall tax levy increase of 0.45%, which equates to 12 cents per year for the average Glenville homeowner. The 2016 Glenville budget meets both the tax cap and government efficiency plan requirements of the State of New York which qualifies Glenville and Scotia residents to receive a rebate check from the state to offset any 2016 town tax increase.
