Minutes
The meeting came to order at 7:04 P.M. with the following persons present:
Members: Sandy Gerraughty – chair, Andrew Belliveau – vice chair, Robin O’Malley – clerk, John Bonazoli, Lisa Collin, Chuck Dickson, Jim Lacey

Georgetown BOS SOP for Annual Town Meeting Warrant
Town Warrant for 11/15/10
Article 1: School Feasibility Study – Terry Wiggin and Ellie Sinkewicz came to discuss this possible warrant article. The Board of Selectmen (BOS) have asked the Finance and Advisory Board their opinion on whether or not to hold the Special Town Meeting. Terry and Ellie answered questions from our board. 49.31% will be reimbursed from the MSBA (Mass School Building Authority). We will pay invoices as they are submitted and the MSBA will reimburse the town on a monthly basis. The exact financial details are still being discussed and were not available for discussion at this meeting. The study could take 18 to 24 months to complete. If we don’t have a special town meeting then we will be removed from the pipeline by the MSBA. We have already been given an extension
until the fall we can not get another extension.
John Bonazoli made a motion that the Finance and Advisory Board recommend to the Board of Selectmen for Article 1, School Feasibility Study, to be included in the town warrant for the Special Town Meeting to allow the town’s people to vote on this article. Jim Lacey seconded the motion. Motion carries 7-0.
Article 2: Village Lane street acceptance
Jim Lacey made a motion that the Finance and Advisory Board recommend to the Board of Selectmen for Article 2, Village Lane Street Acceptance, to be included in the town warrant for the Special Town Meeting to allow the town’s people to vote on this article. John Bonazoli seconded the motion. Motion carries 7-0.
Georgetown BOS SOP for Annual Town Meeting Warrant: We reviewed and Sandy will pass along the comments to the BOS.
FY11 Budget as of 9/30/10: Robin asked why the School dept. encumbers their wages? Terry said it was better for him to see the overall picture so they have a better idea of where they stand.
Jim Lacey made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Chuck Dickson and passed with a vote of 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:23 p.m.
