Finance & Advisory Board Meeting

Minutes
The meeting came to order at 7:06 P.M. with the following persons present:
Members: Sandy Gerraughty – chair, Robin O’Malley – clerk, John Bonazoli, Lisa Collin, Chuck Dickson, Jim Lacey, Reggie Tardif
Absent: Andrew Belliveau – vice chair
Guests: Gary Fowler and Steve Smith – BOS, Esther Palardy, Corona Magner, Claire Maimone, Cynthia Tardif. Colleen Ranshaw-Fiorello – Council on Aging, Lt Don Cudmore and Chief James Mulligan – Police Dept

Council on Aging (COA):
- Director Colleen Ranshaw-Fiorello explained her budget requests and gave the board some facts.
- There are 1,544 residents that are 60 that the COA can serve. This represents 18% of the population
- The COA budget represents .3% of the town budget
- COA is always looking for volunteers to give rides or to speak about a skill or talent that you have
- The COA wish list can be found on the town’s website under Council on Aging.
The Board voted to appoint Timothy Gerraughty to the CIP at our last meeting. We signed the paperwork tonight.
Police Department:
- Chief Mulligan gave some highlights concerning his department
- Lt Cudmore explained the budget request and handed out a binder with more information.
Not all Board members have had a chance to review the minutes so no action was taken.
Jim Lacey made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Reg Tardif and passed with a vote of 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:36 p.m.
Next Meeting: Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 7:00 pm 2nd floor of town hall.
