MINUTRS GEORGETOWN COA

The Board of the Georgetown COA met Tuesday, January 25, 2011.The meeting was called to order at 12:25 PM by Chairwoman Claire Maimone.
Present were: Jeannine Desjardins, Diane Prescott. Jean Perley, Cynthia Tardif, Claire Maimone, Corona Magner, Barbara Miller, Esther Palardy, Director Colleen Ranshaw Fiorello.
There was no Executive Session and no Public Hearing.
The Minutes of the December 28, 2011 meeting were read and accepted.
There was no Correspondence and no Old Business to discuss.
New Business:
- Tax Incentive Program- there were only 5 applications not returned. Twenty residents (including both new and returning participants) will be in this year’s program. With the program including 20 participants, a lottery was not necessary. Also, there were some new positions added.
- Fy 12 Budget- We have not yet received news of State Local Aid. Without federal stimulus money for schools this year we are expecting a deficit. There will be a Workshop Saturday Jan. 29, 8 a.m. – Noon at the High School. The Public is invited.

Treasurer’s Report was presented by Colleen and accepted.
Staff Reports:
Director’s Report was read and discussed.
- Outreach Statistics for December 2010 were presented. General Information Services, Case Management, , Home Visits, Reassurance Calls, Medical Equipment, Newsletters mailed, NEET, Congregate meals, Elder Brown Bag, Van Service, Social Events, Cultural Events, Health Education, Classes.
