Attendance: Charles Waters; Barbara Hart; Tim Gerraughty
Guest: Harry LaCortiglia (left at 6:50pm)
Discussion took place regarding funding for the Affordable Housing Trust (AHT) and revolved around a letter dated 1-Dec-09 from Laura H. Pawle (Kopelman & Paige) see attached.
Chas informed us that after meeting with the CPC there was a deadline for application for the spring town meeting that would occur before our next meeting so he requested a placeholder so that the board could move forward with an article(s) in the spring if they so determined it was warranted.
A review of Georgetown’s affordable housing stock was discussed by reviewing the “Affordable Housing Overview Report” (see attached).
Discussion took place regarding a time line from now till the annual town meeting and the milestones and deadlines that needed to be achieved.
Tim G made a motion to have our next meeting 6-Jan-10 (Chas 2nd) Vote 3-0.
Tim G made a motion to accept the minutes of 26-Oct-09 (Barbara 2nd) Vote 3-0.
Action Items:
- Chas to invite AHTF to our 6-Jan-09 meeting
- We all should think of whom else would be appropriate at that meeting for brainstorming.
- Try and come up with ideas of were we see the Trust moving and how for the next meeting.
Barbara made a motion to adjourn 7:42pm (Tim 2nd) Vote 3-0 in favor.
