ATTENDEES: Commissioner Seifert, Skinner & White; Finance Coordinator Justine Swanson; Commission Assistant Steph Kamerman
Discussion & Decision re: Approval of Transmittal Letter, MD&A Approval, Management Representative Letter. Ms. Swanson explained that the external audit went very well. It was 100% clean, which is rare. Commissioner Skinner made a motion to authorize the chairman to sign the Transmittal Letter, MD & A Approval and Management Representative Letter. Commissioner White seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried unanimously.
Discussion & Decision re: MDOT Encroachment Application for 911 Call Box on Gallatin Road. Ms. Kamerman explained that the Big Sky Rotary would like to place an emergency call box at the turnout south of the 35mph bridge on the west side of Rt 191. However, it is required that the County sign the application. Commissioner Skinner made a motion to authorize the chair to sign the encroachment application to MDOT for a 911 Call box on Gallatin Road in the said location. Commissioner White seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried unanimously.
Discussion & Decision re: Resolution Cancelling the December 26th Public Meeting, and holding a Claims Approval Only meeting on December 27, 2017. Commissioner Skinner made a motion to approve resolution number 2017-134 to cancel the regular public meeting of the county commissioners on December 26th. Commissioner White seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried unanimously.
