The County Commissioners attended a special meeting for the purpose of considering approval of a “Utilities Relocation Reimbursement Agreement with Northwestern Energy Electricity Transmission and Authorization to Proceed with Construction Engineering for Federal Aid Project: 90-6(112)300; Designation 58970001 East Belgrade Interchange – North” in the amount of $91,735.64. The meeting was held as a continuation from the February 26, 2013 public meeting on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 9:30AM in the Commission Conference Room. In attendance were
Commissioners Skinner and White, Grants and Projects Administrator Larry Watson, Mark Maierle of Morrison-Maierle, and Commission Assistant Glenda Howze. Mr. Watson and Mr. Maierle explained that the engineering portion of this contract is for $43,456.64 and the earthwork is for $48,279 and the release is only for the engineering portion at this time. Commissioner White made a motion to authorize the Chair to sign both the contract and authorization letter regarding the contract as explained by staff. Commissioner Skinner seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried unanimously.
