New Business:
Under members, Susan Wordal’s designation should be changed to City Attorney’s Office.
Susan indicated that the new proposed slate of officers was not included in the previous meeting agenda. Susan moved that we void the slate. Katie seconded, motion carried.
After discussion of the previous proposed slate Matt motioned that we adopt the slate as follows:

Katie seconded, motion carried.
Susan moved that the minutes be approved with the corrections. Katie seconded, motion carried.
Marketing
Katie proposed that we run advertisements in the Chronicle Bargain Box indicating that money from DUI fines pays for the ads as well as the message of not drinking and driving. Katie also proposed that the Task Force consider including booking pictures of individuals arrested for DUI. Susan indicated it would require a signed release from the arrestee.
Steve proposed printing all of the names of individuals arrested for DUI prior to the holiday season. This would be a compilation of information already printed in the Chronicle.
Susan motioned that $300 be allocated for the Task Force to run some ads prior to the start of school. EJ seconded. Motion carried.
Steve proposed we use intoxilyzer mouthpieces converted into key chains to give away at Task Force functions.
BAC Cards – Jenna indicated that the information line to be printed on the cards should include a Task Force slogan. Several suggestions were made.
Brochures – A proposed brochure was passed around by Jenna.
Sweet Pea Festival – It would be great to have an imprinted pen to pass out at events like Swee Pea.
Labor Day promotion in conjunction with Safe Kids/Safe Communities is in progress.
MDOT /DUI awareness signs at the river. – EJ and Cherie stated that Crime Stoppers might fund if their name is included on the sign.
Jenna will work on the prevention Ezine and discuss at the September meeting.
Judge Seel – Susan stated he would like to meet with Jenna and a few other members to see what our status is. Jenna stated she would set up a meeting for August.
RBST classes in Big Sky and West Yellowstone have taken place.
Jenna is working on researching stats for April/May 2006.
Jenna is working on articles for WATCH program, PD, stats, and police reports.
Per Jenna 2007 Plan accepted by State.
NO MEETING IN AUGUST
Finances:
MADD Conference for September 2007.
Matt ask if any other groups could support Jenna attending the conference. Jenna stated that other organizations she attends do not have funding.
EJ asked what are the costs. Jenna stated that airfare is $450, room is $130 plus tax per night, and registration is $375.
Susan moved that $1800 be allocated, EJ seconded, motion carried.
A new Mini-grant form was passed around for review.
Katie moved that we adjourn at 7 PM, Susan seconded, motion carried
