2005 DUI Arrests by Bozeman PD Jenna met with Mark Tymrak about the drop in Bozeman’s DUI arrest rates. Tymrak reports a drop in staff numbers and an increase
in calls has severely impacted PD’s pro-active enforcment and their ability to work traffic. Missoula has funded dedicated traffic patorls. Those patrols pay for themselves. Jenna said she would write an artilce comparing actual calls for service to calls reported in the paper so citizens can see what PD is really doing.
Tymrak also said he would look for a new PD representative to the Task Force.
The Task Force discussed how they might be more supportive of additional staffing for PD.he new video system (purchased by the Task Force) – there’s a few kinks to work out but the system is installed.
Budget and Plan for Fiscal 2007: Jenna met with the County Commissioners and presented the basics of the Task Force’s proposed fiscal 2007 budget. She uses this
