Swimming Upstream Awards
Jenna – Agencies are reluctant to nominate their own members.  The Task Force should create new categories for awards, and make its own nominations to circumvent that problem.

Paul – We could check with the county and city attorneys about the quality of work done by individual officers to find those who deserve recognition.

Jenna – We should find those who have also done community service.  The awards are April 4, so the Task Force must decide at March meeting.

Membership
Jenna is working on appointing Stephen and Shanda and will be advertising for new members.

Jenna will also be notifying members who have more than three unexcused absences.

Task Force meeting in Three Forks or Manhattan
Bob – Because of city meetings there would be a conflict with the Task Force at these locations.
Jenna will ask EJ Clark about meeting in Belgrade.

Holiday Promotions
Jenna – The ads placed in the Chronical were not well done.  Will see about having a graphic artist design them in the future before submitting, and will organize our own group ad – .
Ads in KMMS were well received and timely for New Years – concentrated on the three days beforehand..
Task Force buttons were distributed at Holiday Strolls in Bozeman and Belgrade – total of 300 distributed.

Semi-annual Report
The County asked for a semi-annual report on our progress in relationship to stated goals for fiscal 2006.
Jenna distributed a handout with attachments that included promotional items, budget, and news.
