MAYOR’S UPDATE


City Council to consider the minutes of the June 11, 2012, June 19, 2012 City Council Budget Workshop Meeting and the July 9, 2012 City Council Meeting.

School Board Report

Brownie Troup 22136 will address the Mayor and Council concerning the Odell Park Cottage which has served as a meeting place for the Troop.


Mayor’s Drug Task Force Update

City Council to consider granting  pre-award authorization to the Municipal Services Director for the use of Barrie Miller’s Well and Pump Service for the “Sanbornton Well Field, Annual Well Development and Replacement Project and for “Water Department Emergency Pump Repair and Well Repairs/Rehabilitation.”



City Council to schedule a date for the September City Council Meeting as the first Monday (September 3rd) falls on Labor Day.


City Council to consider the scheduling of a public hearing on Resolution #02-13.  This resolution would establish a capital reserve fund for the Bessie Rowell Community Center.


City Council to consider the scheduling of a public hearing on Ordinance #03-12 which concerns Chapter 222.7 of the Municipal Code, Tobacco Use and the adding of the Bessie Rowell Community Center under Item B. The use of tobacco products is prohibited in the following City recreation areas or facilities.


City Council to consider amending the 2008 Welfare Guidelines.


City Council to consider approval of Resolution #03-13 concerning a full faith and credit pledge regarding the Tiny Twister and Head Start grants.


City Council to review the Local Government Center Policy Conference Items.


City Council to consider a one year lease extension for the Granite State Animal League from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013.


City Council to consider the scheduling of a public hearing on Resolution #04-13 concerning the implementation of an Afterschool Program through the Parks and Recreation Department and the scheduling of a public hearing on Ordinance #04-13 concerning Chapter 160 of the Municipal Code, Fees which would establish a $25.00 weekly fee for the Afterschool Program.
