Call to order. Noting a quorum present,
Jim Roche called the meeting to order
at 7:00PM.
No citizen comments
MC/RT Approve minutes of February 4th meeting. 8-0-0
Tina Powderly and Rebecca Cameron had
not arrived yet to vote.
MC/RT Motion to approve the transfer of 10-0-0
$564,087.00 from Stabilization Acct to
Snow and Ice to cover the snow and ice
deficit.
Tina Powderly and Rebecca Cameron are
now voting.
TP/RT Motion to approve the transfer of $45,000.00 10-0-0
from Free Cash to Del Carte Open Space
Dam Repair/Removal. This is to secure
funds for the repair/removal of Del Carte
Open Space Dam.
RT/MC Motion to approve the transfer of $18,000.00 10-0-0
from Free Cash to Veteran’s Benefits. This is
to cover payments through June 30, 2009.
Old Business: None
New Business: Members of the Long Range Fiscal Committee
asked to spread the word that there would be a
a public meeting at the Horace Mann Auditorium
on Monday, April 27 to explain the fiscal conditions
that the Town would be facing in the future.
Jim Roche stated the April 16th Finance Committee
meeting would be back in the Council Chambers.
