                                                  7:00PM.

                                                  Capital Budget Requests

Tim Rapoza, Director of Technology and Maureen Sabloinski, Superintendent were
present to discuss the technology requests of the town and schools as well as other equipment for the schools
Town  Technology - $20,000 to replace equipment such as server upgrades
Schools Technology - $200,000 which consists of making the JFK School wireless, laptops for teachers, Elementary smart boards for Grade 1 and a single server video feed and video storage.
School Equipment - $54,000 to replace two vans that are 10 yrs old.

Mike D’Angelo, Facilities Manager was present to discuss the needs of town buildings.
Library - $20,000 for new carpet downstairs in the Library that is all worn out.
School Improvements - Keller- Sullivan and Parmenter Schools – Keller-Sullivan $220,000 to install security cameras to bring the Keller-Sullivan School to the same level of security as the other schools.
Parmenter - $135,000 to improve the pavement.
School/Town - $350,000 to install fiber cables to all buildings. Of the $350,000, $200,000 would come from the Cable Commission Account and the $150,000 would come from the town.

Kevin Ryan and Steve Semerjian of the Police Department were present to discuss the needs of the Police Department.
$152,900 for 5 marked Police cruisers.
$15,300 for computer printers and monitors.



Chief McCarraher was present to discuss the needs of the Fire Department.
$74,000 needed to replace 2 staff cars and $58,000 for protective equipment and cardiac defibrillators.

Brutus Cantoreggi request was for $320,000 which would be used for roads, sidewalks and drainage improvements.

Old Business:   None

New Business:  Jim Roche welcomed Chris Quinn to the Finance Committee and also expressed
                            condolences to Craig Maire on the passing of his father.
