Call to order. Noting a quorum present,
Jim Roche called the meeting to order
at 7:00PM.

KN/JC Approve minutes of March 4th meeting. 9-0-0
Jeff updated the committee on the Fire Station,
Senior Center. He also thanked Jim Dacey and
Susan Gagner for all their hard work. Jeff also
spoke on job cuts and the town cash reserves.
Property taxes up $1.7 million, state aid up $2.3
million. Local receipts are $700,000 down due to
less car sales (excise tax), and less building permits.

Kevin Doyle, Vincent DeBaggis, and Ken Norman updated
the committee on the work that is done in the Assessors
office.
Ken Norman recues himself from voting as he is also a
member of the Board of Assessors.

Presidential Election in November and would be
using more workers at the polls.

PG asked why there was a decrease in salaries.
Dave stated that it was due to some inspectors being
part-time workers. Also, some the clerical workers
were part-time.

Jim stated that we were on target with taxes, collections

Jeff stated that this was to cover the Town Attorneys
salary for 3 days/per week plus meetings and whenever else he is
needed.
