RE: Supplement Agent’s Report 5-24-12
The following items were either not included in the May 21, 2012 Agent’s Report or have been updated since the issuing of said report.
- Hay Bales at Anchorage and Elm Streets – Staff has inspected the site and has it found it in a stabilized condition. At this time, the Town Engineer has requested that he be authorized to remove them.
- Council Budget Hearings – The Town Council will vote on funding the Del Carte dam repairs on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:00 pm, in the Council Chambers. It is very important to have a strong showing, so I hope to see all of you there. It would also be helpful to get abutters, especially ones who abut dams 2, 3 and 4, to go to the meeting.
- Important Agenda Item – On the next agenda the Flood Maps will be on the agenda. We need to have them incorporated into the Conservation Rules or Regulations before July 17, 2012, or numerous people will lose their flood insurance, since we will have stopped being an approved Town. Once the new map becomes a Zoning Bylaw, it will be removed from our Rules and regulations.
- 880 West Central Street – Staff has received the signed letter of agreement for the completion of the restoration plan. The signed agreement arrived Thursday, May 24th.
