Cemetery Commission
October 7, 2011
Present: Betsy Wiederhold, Bob Abbott and Ethel MacStubbs
with Polly Freese attending
The deed issue is discussed. The Selectmen asked for a copy of our deed given the
the Robinson lot dispute that came before them. Their suggestion was to have Bart Mayer review the document.
Betsy recalled our process back when we adopted the present deed. She had taken the examples of many of our surrounding townships to draft our own form.
We will wait for counsel’s review before going forward.
Polly’s daughter has a deed issued, we speculate, during Thulander’s term. Nancy will send us a copy when she comes upon it.
Betsy will consult Terry Knowles re: the French lot deed being given to the family
and/or how our records will reflect the gift.
Minutes of meeting 9-22-11 accepted as read.
When mail is received personally, copies will be sent out to other trustees.
We have asked Deb, our town manager, to please leave CC mail down stairs in our box.
When ever possible agendas will be mailed out 3 days prior to the meeting scheduled.
Budget talk: Betsy moved to accept the same budget as last year’s for 2012.
All vote in favor.
TJ Jerest has offered two options for our new grounds keeping contract.
We chose to accept the Two Year Contract through 2012 and 2013 with the #1 option
mowing once every 7-10 days, all services as indicated.
Meeting adjourned to #3 Cemetery to continue cross checking computer work in process with Steve Griffin.
