Meeting Minutes
November 7, 2011
Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM. Betsy Hardwick, Scott Carbee and Abigail Arnold in attendance. Members of public included Charlie Pyle, Tom Anderson, Polly Freese, BJ Carbee.
Russell Station Bridge Cost Overrun:’Post Mortem’ analysis with Gary Paige, Dave Gates and Kris Stewart. Areas needing more attention for future projects: FEMA paperwork, amount granted versus amount requested, wording of warrant article, timely submission of bills by contractors and cost monitoring generally.
Preliminary Building Repair Budget Items: Furnace ($8k), Town Office Outside stairs ($1.2k), Annex roof ($.25k); Town Hall roof ($.4k); Town Hall louvers ($.7k); Leak under eagle (requires crane); Town Office generator hook up ($.5k); Annex generator ($2,2k); Town Hall painting (1 side-$6k); Town office electric panels; Christmas tree electric box; Town Hall chairs; Town office desk and locking cabinets; Library drainage. All numbers preliminary estimates.
Christmas Tree; FIHS is fundraising for Christmas tree replacement
School Bus Drop Offs. Stewart Brock will look into the matter and schedule appointment to attend Board meeting.
