MEETING MINUTES
Thursday – December 2, 2010
356 Main Street - Farmington, NH
Members Present: Elmer W. "Butch" Barron III, John David Aylard, Joe Pitre, Joanne Shompe and Paul Parker.
Town Staff Present: Town Planner Kathy Menici
Public Present: Elaine Blaney
Chairman Barron called the meeting to order at 7:05pm.
Business Before the Board:
Review and approve the Meeting Minutes of 10-7-10:
Joe Pitre motioned to accept the minutes of 10-7-10 as written, 2nd Paul Parker. Motion carried with all in favor.
- Any Other Business Before the Board:
Kathy informed the Board that the 2010 Zoning Publication is now available and asked if the Board would like copies. Butch stated each member should get a copy as well as a copy should be ordered for the office.
NEW CASES:
Application for a Variance Approval By: Elaine Blaney (Tax Map R20, Lot 010): To allow for mixed Commercial & Residential Use in the Commercial Business (CB) Zoning District. Parcel is located at 359 NH Route 11.
Butch stated that he needs to recuse himself from the application because he has multiple conflicts. Paul stated that he also needs to recuse himself because he also has a conflict. Butch informed the applicant that they have the right to have full board to hear their application but one is not available tonight. Kathy informed the applicants that they may move forward with the application with three members but all three members must approve the variance in order for it to proceed and be granted. The applicant stated he would like to wait for a full board and Kathy stated she will forward a memo to the Selectman requesting they appoint two people to serve on this application. Butch Barron motioned to continue this application to January 6, 2011,
2nd Joe Pitre. Motion carried with all in favor.
John David Aylard motioned to adjourn, 2nd Joe Pitre. Motion carried with all in favor at 7:15pm.
Chairman Barron adjourned the meeting.
