ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING

Public Present: No public presence
· Chairman Parker called the meeting to order at 7:00 p. m. Minutes of February 19, 2004 were reviewed and Russell Stoakes made a motion to approve the minutes, Gordon Grant 2nd, no discussion, all in favor, motion carried.
· Chairman Parker discussed the 11th OSP Conference “Spring Planning & Zoning Conference May 8, 2004 at the Center of N.H. in Manchester, sponsored by the N. H. Office of Energy & Planning and encouraged board members to attend as well as Planning Board members.
· Discussion on the need for new members on the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
· ZAMPS Chairman Parker – the subcommittee is working on the “Cluster Ordinance.” Charlie King – this document should be ready after a couple more meetings. The ordinance carries a lot of flexibility for the PB. We invite input from the public at our meetings as well as our ordinances. Charlie King made a motion at 7:15 p. m. to recess until 7:30 p. m., Gordon Grant 2nd, motion carried. Meeting reconvened at 7:30 p. m. Chairman Parker – there is no public presence and no public hearing scheduled for this evening.
· Discussion on “Appeals of the Zoning Board” in RSA 677:10 Evidence; How Considered. Discussion on #3. Consideration of evidence not presented to the board.
Discussion also on RSA 677:13 Hearing – additional evidence to allow a trial judge to look at further information. Chairman Parker – there would have to be very strong evidence to follow this process.
· With no further business to discuss, Gordon Grant made a motion to adjourn at 7:35 p. m., Russell 2nd, motion carried.
