BOARD OF SELECTMAN
MEETING MINUTES
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2006
Members Present: Marty Gilman, Paula Proulx, Paul Parker, Gerry McCarthy, and Bill Tsiros
Meeting called to order by Chairman, Paula Proulx at 6:03pm.
Old Business
1. Review public minutes of October 2, 2006. - Paul Parker moved to accept the October 2, 2006 public minutes as amended, Gerry McCarthy seconded. Motion passed.
2. Review non-public minutes of October 2, 2006 - Marty Gilman moved to accept the non-public minutes of October 2, 2006 as amended, Paul Parker seconded. Motion passed.
New Business
1. Paul Parker moved to go into non-public session under RSA 91A:3, 2, B, Gerry McCarthy seconded, Roll Call, motion passed.
Moved to non-public at 6: 22pm. Board back in public session at 8:40pm.
2. Paul Parker reminded the board that they still have an application from Mr.Weagle for the Planning Board. He is currently an alternated and would like to serve as a full-time member. The Chairman noted this and will put it on a future agenda.
3. Paul Parker mentioned to board that he has recently driven on the newly paved Chestnut Hill Rd. and has found the new pavement not to be tapered down to the old. He is concerned that if the pavement is not tapered down the plows will pull up all the new tar during the winter plowing. Paula will check with the deptartment head in the morning.
4. It was noted by several members that the notice to residents about the paving was very helpful and received very well by the community. The board was in concensus that the highway and water/sewer departments should both create mothly calendars of what they are working on so not only are they on task and working efficiently but also so that taxpayers know what to expect as some of the work might effect them.
Paul Parker moved to adjourn, Bill Tsiros seconded, motion passed.
