5:30 p.m. Charlie King reconvenes the Public Hearing on site at R63 Lot 4
Mr. Varney reviewed a revised site plan, which includes proposed landscaping, extended driveway, fuel storage facility, signage, and exterior lighting.
Mr. Davis provided measurements for aisles between lumber piles.
Discussion regarding design of parking area. Mr. Kestner indicated a desire to see the parking area slope away from the wetland and intermittent stream. Mr. Varney will revise to include a reverse slope on parking.
Mr. Esswein was asked about the log storage within the setback. He stated that since the storage did not constitute a permanent improvement to the property that storage of logs within the setback was permitted. Mr. King suggested that the storage issue could be addressed as a special condition of approval.
Mr. Horgan and Mr. Kestner raised the question of storage of hazardous materials, and the need to provide vegetated buffers between work areas and drainage ways.
5:55 p.m. Mr. King moved to continue the meeting until the Planning Board meeting of July 5, 2005. Second by Mr. Parker. All in favor. Motion carried.
APPROVED AS WRITTEN 07/05/2005
