Presentation and discussion about Open Space management.

Town Council rules dictate that a public comment period would not be typically permitted with this type of agenda item, however, there will be a motion to suspend the rules to allow public comment. If the Town Council unanimously agrees to suspend the rules, public comment will be allowed.

ACTION: Council action is not anticipated.

Summary:

Staff and Land Management and Acquisition Committee members will offer a presentation on Open Space acquisition history, land management history, proposed land management options, and other related matters.

There will also be a summary or recap of the first agenda item, including a report on several site walks at various open space locations including but not limited to River Point, Suckfish Brook, and Hadlock Community Forest.
