The concept for allowing staff approval of minor improvements to commercial properties was presented to the Council on January 14, 2013. The Council agreed to consider the measure and supported Councilor Farber’s request to workshop it with the Planning Board. This workshop was held on April 2, 2013.
The attached proposal from Councilor Farber calls out several policy questions for the Council to consider. At this time the Council should also indicate whether they are in favor of staff drafting proposed ordinance language and if it should be referred to the CDC. |
