Summary:
The Capital Improvement Plan includes the purchase of a Fire Truck in FY2015. The Fire Chief has researched the cost to purchase a truck and determined that it is more prudent to purchase the truck one year earlier. The Fire Equipment reserve fund has adequate reserves to purchase the apparatus in FY2014.
