The Community Development Director is recommending the creation of an ad-hoc Zoning Committee to assist the CDC in the administrative rewrite of the Zoning and Site Plan Review Ordinance. This committee would have a one year life and all members would be appointed for a one year term. The recommended make-up would be: 1) one CDC member that would serve as chair; 2) one Planning Board member; 3) one Board of Zoning Appeals member; 4) one LPAC member; 5) one FEIC member; 6) one Conservation Commission member and 3 members at-large. All members would be residents of Falmouth and the at-large members should represent the technical professions that have every day knowledge of
zoning ordinances such as land use attorney, real estate broker, land developer, civil engineer, land use planner, landscape architect, architect, soil scientist, environmental scientist or similar profession.
There are two memos attached. The first is a memo from the Community Development Committee (dated April 2) that was inadvertently attached. The second, added at 5:30 p.m. is from the Community Development Director (dated April 4). Both describe the purpose and proposed make-up of the committee. |
