Subject:

Order to go into Executive Session pursuant to the Laws of Maine to discuss and consider a consent agreement for matters related to land use violation enforcement, pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. § 405 (6) (E): consultations between a body or agency and its attorney.

ACTION: Council action is anticipated after returning from Executive Session.

Summary:

Staff and the Town Attorney have been working with property manager Steve Woods regarding a resolution for zoning violations at 380 US Route 1 involving the placements of certain signs. The Town Council will discuss in executive session possible terms and conditions of a consent agreement.

If the Town Council decides to take action, an order to approve a consent agreement for TideSmart Realty, LLC would be considered once the Council returns from executive session. Any approved consent agreement will be made public immediately after action is taken.
