Staff recommend that a zoning amendment be considered to expand the types of businesses that would be permitted as a home occupation. The ordinance currently limits home occupations to those "customarily" performed in the home or an accessory structure. This language is very subjective and does not accommodate home occupations that may otherwise meet all the performance standards required. The amendment would preserve the performance standards currently required. Please find attached the introduction letter, the original proposed amendment dated February 7, 2012 and the amendment recommended for the order dated February 27, 2012. The recommended amendment
