The Community Development Committee (CDC) has been working on proposed zoning amendments and infrastructure improvements for Route One from Route 88 to the Turnpike Spur.
The purpose of this effort is to broaden and diversify the Town’s tax revenue and create/maintain a livable place on Route 1 with the growth that is anticipated.
The CDC would like to receive Council direction on the key draft proposed zoning concepts and infrastructure options before it prepares the required proposal details. Feedback will also be sought by the CDC from the public and the Route 1 business community.
