Recently the Town's 1925 REO Speedwagon antique fire truck was moved into the Falmouth Historical Society's garage. The Fire Department has no room to store it since the Pleasant Hill Fire Station was sold and now the Historical Society would like to take ownership of the truck. The Fire Department is in favor of transferring ownership to them.
The value of the truck is greater than $10,000 and so Town Council's approval is required, in accordance with Section 16-43 of the Town’s Code of Ordinances, in order to dispose of it.
